Aboera's four-star system was designed not to mirror existing guides, but to raise the conversation. The difference between one-star and four-star is not a matter of amenities — it is a matter of refinement in service and experience.

The Audit Process.

How Establishments Are Selected

Anyone Nominates  /  Aboera Identifies

Anyone may submit a nomination. We require basic details about the establishment along with simple contact information from the submitter.

Aboera's team also actively monitors markets for establishments that demonstrate the hallmarks of exceptional service — independent of any public nomination.

Aboera Reviews

Each nomination and identification is assessed internally for relevance and alignment with Aboera's standards. Not all establishments receive an audit invitation.

Invitation Extended

If selected for further consideration, the establishment receives a formal invitation to participate in an Aboera audit. Participation requires acceptance.

Audit Conducted

Upon acceptance, the audit is conducted anonymously under standard guest conditions.

Rating Issued

Following completion, a private audit summary is issued to the establishment and a public rating summary is published on the Aboera platform.

Every Aboera rating reflects performance across dozens of criteria including arrival experience, attentiveness, product knowledge, anticipation of need, recovery from error, and overall emotional impression.
